Data attribution

LatchScale is built on public and openly licensed data. Each business record keeps the license of its source.

Overture Maps Foundation

Business places come from the Overture Maps Foundation places dataset. Overture places are licensed per record. Records from different sources carry different licenses, including CDLA Permissive 2.0, Apache 2.0 and CC0.

Foursquare Open Source Places

Some Overture places come from Foursquare Open Source Places, licensed under the Apache License 2.0.

State of Florida, Division of Corporations

New business filings come from the public data downloads of the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations. LatchScale shows business-level details only and never shows officer or registered-agent names or addresses.

Business websites

Website checks read each business's public homepage and up to three of its own pages. Our checker respects robots.txt, identifies itself, and makes at most one request per second to a site.
